What to include when you reach out
A few details help us give you a fast, accurate answer. Whenever you can, share your wedding date (or the window you are considering), the region of Costa Rica you are heading to, your approximate guest count, and whether you need photography, videography, or both. If you already have a planner or a venue booked, drop those names in too. Still shaping the plan? That is completely fine, just tell us the vibe you are chasing and we will help fill in the blanks.
How we work & where we shoot
We reply to every inquiry within one business day, usually sooner. Because we are a small in-house team, you talk to the same people from your first message through the delivery of your gallery and film. We photograph and film destination weddings and elopements across Guanacaste, the Nicoya Peninsula, Manuel Antonio, La Fortuna, and the Central Valley, and we work in both English and Spanish. How to Contact a Costa Rica Wedding Photographer
Reaching out should be easy, so there is no long form to fill in. Simply tell us your date, your venue or the area you are considering, and roughly how many guests you expect. Then we can check availability and give you a real answer quickly.
What happens after you write
We read every message ourselves, and we usually reply within one business day. Because we are a small team rather than a studio with an inbox manager, the person who answers is the person who will photograph your day. If your date is close or something is urgent, a WhatsApp message reaches us faster than email.
What to include
The more context you give us, the more useful our first reply will be. For example, knowing your ceremony time lets us tell you where the light will be, and knowing your venue lets us flag any transfer or timing issues. In addition, tell us whether you want film as well as photography, since we cover both in-house.
Availability and booking
We photograph 80 to 100 weddings a year, so dry season dates fill early. Therefore the sooner you write, the more likely your date is still open. Once you decide to move forward, we send an agreement and hold the date with a retainer.
Pricing and What Is Included
Photography collections start at $2,680, and travel and lodging within Costa Rica and Nicaragua are included, so there are no surprise line items later. Photo and film coverage is quoted per couple, because it depends on your hours and the shape of your day.
We answer in English or Spanish, whatever feels natural for you and your planner. Across 26 combined years we have photographed and filmed more than 700 destination weddings in Costa Rica.
