A bilingual, in-house photo and film team
We are Adri and Lucas, a bilingual (English and Spanish) photography and film team based in Costa Rica. We work as a small, in-house studio, which means the same people you meet on your first call are the ones behind the camera on your wedding day and the ones crafting your gallery and film afterward. Because we cover both photo and video ourselves, your whole day is captured in stills and motion by one team that knows your story, so nothing falls through the cracks.
Our approach is documentary and unobtrusive. We are drawn to real moments: the quiet look before the ceremony, the toast that lands, the light dropping over the Pacific. We have photographed and filmed weddings and elopements across Costa Rica, from Guanacaste and the Nicoya Peninsula to Manuel Antonio and La Fortuna, and we are proud to be Junebug Weddings’ most-featured wedding team in the country. About Adri and Lucas, Costa Rica Wedding Photographers
We are a four-person, bilingual photography and film team based in Guanacaste and Costa Rica’s Central Valley. Across 26 combined years we have photographed and filmed more than 700 destination weddings, and we are Junebug Weddings’ most-featured wedding team in the country.
How we work
We photograph in a documentary style, which means we follow the day rather than staging it. Therefore most of what you see in our galleries actually happened, instead of being arranged for the camera. We still guide you when guidance helps, particularly with light and timing.
One team for photo and film
Hiring separate photo and video vendors who have never met is a gamble, because they end up competing for the same angles. In contrast, we cover both in-house and plan the day as a single unit. As a result, your gallery and your film share one look and one calm presence.
Why local knowledge matters
Because we live here, we know which beaches face the sunset, how the dry and green seasons behave, and how long transfers really take. Consequently we can build a timeline around the light instead of guessing.
What we photograph
We cover full weddings, elopements, and engagement sessions across the country, from Guanacaste resorts to jungle and volcano settings. Meanwhile we keep our volume at 80 to 100 weddings a year, so every couple gets real attention.
Working With Us
Photography collections start at $2,680, and travel and lodging within Costa Rica and Nicaragua are included. Tell us your date and your venue and we will send the full breakdown. We answer in English or Spanish.
